Job Type: Part-time (Monday 6:45a.m.-Noon and Thursday 6:45a.m.-2:00p.m. (approx. 13 hours a week)
Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Route Driver to join our team. The Route Driver will be responsible for picking up and delivering dry cleaning to designated locations on a predetermined route. The ideal candidate should possess excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a company vehicle to transport goods along assigned routes.
Load and unload clothing, ensuring that all items are properly secured and accounted for.
Follow established routes and schedules, adhering to delivery timelines and deadlines.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and roadworthiness.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, and any incidents or discrepancies encountered.
Communicate effectively with the manager to coordinate deliveries and address any issues or concerns that arise.
Provide excellent customer service by delivering cleaning in a courteous and professional manner.
Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle.
Report any mechanical problems or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, both internally and externally.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with the local area Moon Twp, Sewickley, Beaver and Brighton Township
Familiarity with GPS
