The Executive Transport Field Service Manager is responsible for overseeing daily FSR activities and communicating and coordinating efforts with other Boeing managers at the site. The Executive Transport Field Service Manager is tasked to ensure the FSRs have the training, tools, and talent required to support their customers efficiently, safely, and with uncompromising quality due to the highly-visible nature of their end products. Work hours are typically day shift, Monday thru Friday, eight hours per day. Customer and team demands may require occasional work hour adjustments outside this window. It is expected that the manager be on-site during work hours. Short-term business travel may be occasionally required. Position is located in Andrews AFB, MD.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage the FSRs assigned to support the U.S. executive transport fleet at JB Andrews, MD, Scott AFB, IL, and San Antonio, TX
Recruit, hire, train. coach, counsel, mentor, and evaluate team personnel.
Oversee team execution. Resolve execution obstacles and personnel issues.
Develop/maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provide oversight/approval of technical approaches, products, and processes
This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience) :
Leadership experience with technical employees
Able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
Willing and able to travel domestically 10% of the time
Preferred Skills
Experience with Earned Value Management and managing schedules and budgets
Experience working in a global team environment
Experience directly supporting US Military customers
Prior role in engineering or maintenance with aviation products
Experience with Boeing commercial derivative aircraft

Summary pay range: $115,600 – 156,400
