Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Field Support Representative to support the Presidential Aircraft (VC-25A) at Joint Base Andrews Air Force Base (AFB), Maryland .

Position Responsibilities:

Some of the job responsibilities/ duties include (but not limited to):

  • Provide technical support, training, and guidance to United States Air Force and Boeing technicians maintaining avionics systems and airframe components on a Boeing 747 aircraft.

  • Provide technical guidance to assist in day-to-day operations and maintenance of aircraft including assistance in troubleshooting and resolving equipment problems; Service Action and technical data interpretation; participation in test and functional check flights to evaluate equipment and system performance; instruct in the use of special tools / test equipment. Maintain qualifications for Quality Assurance and Repair Station duties and act as company and customer liaison.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Joint Base Andrews AFB, MD.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Yankee White security investigation involves background checks into your financial, criminal, mental, job history, drug/substance usage, membership in groups, and traffic records. Must YW have prior to hiring.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum 5 years of experience of maintenance or air crew experience on VC-25A or comparable multi-engine Special Air Mission (SAM) or Very Important Person (VIP) aircraft within the last 10 years.

  • Travel requirement is up to 20%

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an Integrated Product Support Function (IPT) capacity (e.g. Technical Publications, Support Equipment, Training Maintenance Planning, LSA, FSR, Retrofit, Provisioning, or Supply Chain) and Project Management.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Active/Current Top Secret and / or SSBI U.S. Security Clearance is a PLUS; Please list on your resume for consideration.

  • A&P license

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years of related work experience, 10 years of related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $86,700 - $117,300.
