Home Depot HDE MERCHANDISING ANALYST in Atlanta, Georgia

Position Purpose:

Manages retail pricing process for all programs to achieve company financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 20% Works directly with Program Merchants to develop systems and processes to deliver accurate retail pricing, ensuring program gross margin objectives are met.

  • 20% Manages the retail price models and all outputs including pricing worksheets and labor bills.

  • Evaluation and continual improvement of pricing models to improve accuracy and program profitability.

  • Continual process improvement for managing cost changes on labor and materials

  • 15% Manages the "retail price shop" process to ensure we are priced in the marketplace consistent with our strategy.

  • 15% Manages the program purchase order models including purchase order outputs and methodology to improve accuracy and ease of use by the branches.

  • 10% Develop and manage a "Distributor Quote Management" process to control material costs purchased from third-party distributors, Including periodic shops of marketplace.

  • 20% Conduct detailed pricing and gross margin variance analysis by product by market. Conduct other ad hoc financial analysis to support program management.

Travel Requirements:

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.

  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
