Actalent Clinical Social Worker in Auburn, Washington

Description:

  • Working at the Auburn location at the Med Surg hospital.

  • Supporting the in-patient and ED patient populations

  • Mostly working with adults, but occasionally some teenagers will come in.

  • Working with psychiatric/mental health patients in their in-patient ward.

  • Need to do mental health evaluations

  • Cross continuum care coordination (clinic, provider care, urgent care, phone care, skilled care, etc)

  • Psychosocial assessments and psychosocial interventions

  • Identify opportunities to continually improve patience care, services, and population health

  • Supporting with transitions of cares for patients

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must be a clinical social worker

  • Two licenses accepted: Social Worker Associate Independent Clinical License OR Social Worker Independent Clinical License

  • They can accept either a associates or an independent license. If associates degree need to commit to obtain their LICSW within 4 years.

  • 2-3 years of acute acute in-patient hospital experience.

  • Nice to have mental health/psychiatric patient experience

  • Need to have proficient computer skills

  • Exposure to an EMR system is preferred ideally EPIC

  • Ability to have organizational skills (managing the work and flow).

  • MSW degree
