Description

We are on the lookout for a meticulous Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Austin, Texas. This role involves managing all accounting operations, reviewing financial packages, and ensuring timely payments. You will also be involved with budget preparation and annual audits, and mentoring Senior and Associate accountants.

Responsibilities:

• Review and ensure timely delivery of financial packages to investors, lenders, and other management teams.

• Respond promptly to requests regarding various accounting issues and reports.

• Facilitate timely payments of property taxes, debt obligations, and more.

• Assist property managers in the preparation of annual operating budgets and reconciliations.

• Contribute to annual audits and tax return preparation.

• Mentor Senior and Associate accountants, ensuring balanced workload allocations.

• Assist in accounting for transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, and loan closings.

• Help maintain compliance of Partnership agreements.

• Undertake special projects and other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting managerial or supervisory role

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and best practices

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred

• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments within the organization

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
