Mississippi Employer Project Manager - Equipment in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi

  • Coordinate with application engineers and other suject matter experts to ensure the completion of project datasheets.
  • Reviewing project quotes, quote letters, and cost work-ups to ensure projects are presented to clients accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Driving internal project kickoff meetings and keeping all key personnel informed to project details at the start of the project.
  • Reviewing project schedule reports, monitoring and verifying schedules with operations, and communicating all project scheule dates and changes to the Master Production Scheduler.
  • Collaborating with the Engineering Department to ensure design reviews and sumittal drawings are completed with project schedules and submit approved drawings, specs, and revisions to clients.
  • Processing OP code change requests and material requisitions so that materials arrive on time to support production schedules.
  • Collaborating with the Engineering, Manufacturing, and Master Production Scheduler to ensure drawings are released to manufacturning on-time in order to meet project schedule, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinating the testing schedule with the Manufacturing Department so that proper company and client representation are available throughout the testing process.
  • Coordinating logistics (lift plans and weight, if necessary) and shipment of product with Material Management Department and collecting proper documentation (e.g., shipping instructions, ship short items, ship loose items).
  • Documenting a approving updates to a project through Project Change Orders.
  • Verfying and maintaining the accuracy and consistency of project schedule information within our project management software so that it can be communicated to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring quality standards are being met throughout project life cycles.
  • Direct technical quetions related to projects to appropriate allplication engineers.
  • Serving as the main point of contact to internal and external project stakeholder by managing information flow between clients and various departments concerning status updates, schedule changes, design approvals, expectations, and risks throughout the life cycle of project.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or other related field, preferred.
  • Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP), preferred.
  • Five years of experence managing projects in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Five years of experience working in the oil and gas, marine, electrical equipment, of offshore buildings (fixed and floating platforms) industries, preferred.
