Summary of Position:

Under the direction of the Director of Charter Schools, provide leadership and administrative service necessary to accomplish the goals of Ferris State University as they pertain to Charter Schools. This position includes researching and utilizing data to help provide direction for the Charter Schools Office. Monitor and assess the contractual progress of the public school academies authorized by the University. In collaboration with CSO staff, establish and monitor contractual academic goals, develop assessment, monitoring strategies, and reporting methods that provide clear and detailed information demonstrating all aspects of performance for each academy. The position reports to the Big Rapids CSO office. Additionally, it is expected that, throughout your work, you will need to travel and support our efforts in promoting the statewide FSU student success hubs, dual enrollment opportunities, and building bridges between the charter schools you are supporting and Ferris to increase Ferris enrollment. The anticipated start date for this position is July 2024. However, this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed.
