We are currently seeking a skilled Release of Information Specialist to join our team and serve our Fortune 500 Healthcare client in Chandler and Gilbert, Arizona. As a Release of Information Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and compliant release of confidential medical information for our esteemed healthcare client. The Release of Information Specialist role is an onsite contract opportunity that offers a chance to work with a renowned Fortune 500 company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and fulfill requests for the release of medical records and information.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant privacy regulations, including HIPAA.

• Maintain detailed records of all requests, disclosures, and transactions.

• Release records to multiple entities including patients, next of kin, other providers, and legal offices.

• Assist in quality assurance and auditing procedures to maintain data integrity.

• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

  Requirements

• Previous experience in a Release of Information role within a healthcare setting is preferred.

• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
