Robert Half Office Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Office Manager in the location of Charlotte, North Carolina. The primary role involves managing employee relations, handling disputes, overseeing special projects, and facilitating the on-boarding and off-boarding process. This position will be operated 100% on-site, following a Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 5:30 schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and managing all office procedures and processes

• Resolving employee disputes and maintaining a healthy work environment

• Managing special projects as assigned and ensuring their successful completion

• Handling the on-boarding process for new employees, which includes conducting orientations and integrating new hires into the team

• Overseeing the off-boarding process for departing employees, which includes conducting exit interviews and ensuring a smooth transition

• Administering employee benefits plans and explaining benefits to employees

• Utilizing HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems for efficient management of employee data

• Ensuring compliance with all human resources administration processes and regulations

• Utilizing MS Office Suite for various administrative tasks

• Taking up additional responsibilities as required, demonstrating self-motivation and eagerness to be involved. Requirements • Demonstrated ability to conduct new-employee orientations

• Experience in counseling and disciplining employees

• Proficiency in managing employee benefit plans

• Familiarity with onboarding processes and exit interviews

• Knowledge of HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems

• Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Ability to manage special projects effectively

• Proficiency in MS Office tools

• Experience in overseeing office administrative procedures

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Demonstrated leadership skills

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion.
