The Field Install Technician ensures that assembling requirements are fulfilled in accordance with the Engineered Drawings received, assembles the unit in accordance with approved procedures and assembly instructions. Verifies that materials used, and the assembled unit sections meet product and process specifications. The Assembler works under the direct supervision of a Rigging Foreman and/or the Construction Manager to satisfy work assignments.

Read plans as required to identify pick points, and assembly of the overall units. Assess the hardware needed to achieve the design and discuss with the Site Construction Manager any specific concerns.

Gather any special equipment and supplies needed to install as planned.

Ensure that all assets are secured before the end of a shift. This includes the approved use of lifts, tools, and other approved methodologies.

Ensure all units are placed correctly per engineered drawings.

Ensure all units are secured correctly per engineered drawings.

Ensure all units have been connected/interconnected correctly and perform a spot check on the team.

Setting, aligning, and leveling heavy equipment machinery.

Selecting the appropriate rigging gear.

Preparing rigging equipment including beams, pulleys, clamps, shackles, bolts etc.

Inspecting rigging before use.

Monitoring and maintaining rigging equipment.

Maneuvering loads using heavy equipment machinery and by hand.

Ensuring compliance with state and company safety procedures.

Communicating with the rigging and construction team.

Breaking down rigging equipment and conducting post-rigging inspections (as needed)

Record and report any damage to person or property during the operation Produce high quality products and services for our customers.
