OVERVIEW
Cadrex is searching for a Warehouse Supervisor who will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse associates and ensuring the smooth functioning of our warehouse operations. You will oversee all aspects of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of materials. Your strong leadership abilities, organizational skills, and ability to manage priorities effectively will contribute to the overall efficiency, accuracy, and productivity of our warehouse operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, sorting, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of materials
Ensure accurate inventory management through regular cycle counts, reconciliation, and maintenance of inventory records
Coordinate and optimize material flow and storage, ensuring efficient space utilization and adherence to safety guidelines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Supply Chain, Production, and Quality, to coordinate material availability and resolve any issues
Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices to ensure efficient and accurate warehouse operations
Monitor and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to occupational health and safety regulations
Train warehouse associates on proper procedures, safety guidelines, and the use of warehouse equipment
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities to warehouse associates
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in warehouse operations, implementing changes as approved
Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within a manufacturing or distribution environment
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software
Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment and following established safety protocols
EDUCATION
High School Diploma
Additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus
LOCATION
- Onsite - Chippewa Falls, WI
SCHEDULE
- Monday-Thursday, 6:00 am-4:30 pm
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
