TEKsystems Lead AV Technician in Covington, Kentucky

Job Description: Lead Audio/Video (AV) Technician

TEKsystems in search of an experienced Lead AV Technician with a minimum of 4 years of AV technical experience. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience leading a team of 3-5 technicians and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Proficiency in the use of power tools, as well as expertise in rack/TV installation, deployment, and repackaging, is essential. The role demands robust low voltage troubleshooting skills to ensure the highest quality of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of AV technicians, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.

  • Oversee the installation, deployment, and repackaging of AV racks and TVs.

  • Demonstrate excellent use of power tools for various AV tasks.

  • Diagnose and resolve complex low voltage issues in AV systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of Cat5/Cat6 cabling.

  • Proven track record of commercial AV installation projects.

  • Competency in AV console programming.
