Adecco is hiring immediately for a Senior Cost Analyst Direct Hire with a local client in Denton, TX. Pay is based upon experience from $75k - $85k.

Duties:

· As a Senior Cost Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting manufacturing cost and variance analysis.

· Duties will encompass monthly variance analysis of production spending and costs, balance sheet reconciliations, and aiding in forecast development and process enhancement, particularly focusing on inventory accuracy. Your analyses, which include standard cost development and capacity and production labor modeling, will be pivotal in supporting plant operations.

· Identify opportunities to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of plant financial reporting, developing or modifying reports as necessary.

· Collaborate with plant management to ensure reports are tailored to the audience while providing a clear financial overview.

· Assist the Sr. Manager, Finance Operations in ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX controls.

· Develop and update standard costs, ensuring accuracy in costing of materials and production routing.

· Conduct analyses to determine costs of business activity, aid in variance analysis, and support financial forecasting.

· Coordinate month-end and year-end close activities with the Plant Controller.

· Prepare key financial metrics and analyses to support decision-making.

· Engage in some overnight travel (expected >5%).

Requirements:

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access, coupled with experience in Oracle or similar ERP systems in a manufacturing environment (costing/BOM/Routing maintenance).

· Analytical Prowess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in developing scorecards using Tableau and other reporting tools, as well as utilizing Python scripts within Excel.

· Organization and Detail Orientation: Ability to effectively plan, organize, and complete projects while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

· Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related experience in a similar role.

· Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, with a preferred professional certification such as CPA or CMA.
