PCB Piezotronics, Inc. Deburring Technician I in Depew, New York

Primary Objective:

The Deburr Technician I will work from drawings and/or written instructions and tool sheets to properly deburr parts.

Major Areas of Accountability

  • With assistance, performs daily deburring activities using a variety of hand tools and machinery. Regularly uses a microscope to view, inspect and deburr parts.

  • Performs transactions in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems as necessary.

  • Under supervision, uses microscope and other high end measuring equipment to view and inspect parts.

  • Ensures conformance of finished work to confirm compliance to tolerance and company specifications under supervision.

  • With assistance, may perform other ancillary activities such as rework or repair of machined parts.

  • May be required to load and operate Tumbling machine or other simple equipment.

  • Performs other related duties as directed.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • High school graduate; or

  • GED; or

Experience

  • Entry level

Preferred Qualifications

Education

  • BOCES Machine Shop classes; or

  • Skilled trade school graduate

Experience

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills

  • Demonstrated experience in order of operations

  • Inspection measuring equipment knowledge

  • Blueprint reading skills

International Traffic in Arms Regulations

This position requires access to “controlled technology” as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730 et. seq.) and “technical data” as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (22 C.F.R, Chapter 1, Subchapter M). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
