The Coca-Cola Company Senior Manager, QSE - Short Term Assignment in Depok, Indonesia

IT IS A FIXE TERM ROLE FOR 12 MONTS

  • Manage and enhance the QSE function in full responsiveness to business needs of CPS Plant while striving to ensure the company's policies and procedures are enforced and adhered to, for beverage bases manufacturing to achieve highest quality products.

  • Ensure full compliances with TCCC safety, occupational health and environment and food safety policies as well as with local regulatory requirements pertaining to these areas including Halal

  • Lead the CPS Plant in implementation and certification of KORE/ISO/HAS systems, and ensure associates capability enhancement to adapt to the complexity in operation.

  • As the member of leadership team in the plant, set the BP targets of the plant and track, measure and analyze the plant KPIs for QSE and ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken to achieve the BP targets.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITES

Strategy Development and Execution : Set the strategic direction and annual BP for QSE function within CPS Plant aligning with CPS Center:

  • Develop QSE Goals per business needs. Design and develop plant strategies to achieve BP targets for QSE goals and objectives for CPS Indonesia

  • Lead the development and execution of the strategy for effective implementation of the quality, food safety, Halal and EOSH objectives.

  • Review and analyze the effectiveness of the QSE system through tracking of the key performance indicators and develop plans for improvement. Ensure all the BP targets of Tier 1 & 2 metrics such as TDQ, PDR, LTSIR, IR, water usage ratio, energy usage ratio are achieved.

  • Guide and direct development of programs and procedures for zero defect manufacturing and governance on adherence. Implement consistent value and quality driven management routines in the plant, assess and increase processes quality capability to meet KORE and regulatory standards.

Implementation of Governance and Program Management:

  • Lead a cross functional teams in the plant to implement the system requirements (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, FSSC 22000, ISO/IEC 17025, KORE and Halal Assurance System. Ensuring all the certifications/audits planned for the year are achieved.

  • Be well versed with SAP-QM module and Laboratory Management systems. Maintain Master data and BOM with 100% accuracy. Ensure usage of active formulation & COSD as per database.

  • Design a program for protecting the confidential information in the Plant. Accountable for protecting the master formula, bill of material and formula working notes as per corporate policies

  • Obtain consents as required by regulatory authorities and ensure compliance to consent conditions as required by regulations.

  • Lead development of protocol for validation of new methods, technology and process in manufacturing

  • Ensure products manufactured and shipped is 'fit for use' and meeting company's and local regulatory requirements.

  • Continuously monitor local regulations related to quality, S&E, food safety, halal; and assure that plant is in compliance with all the requirements, including mandated licenses. Being updated on the new laws and regulations, conduct gap analysis to comply and close the gaps; liaising with BU/Region SRA and Legal.

  • Lead communications between the customers, CS and Operations team on any quality and safety related issues and address.

  • Lead and encourage the team in exhibiting best in class GMP. Brainstorm ideas and collaborate with Corporate/other CPS plants/certification agencies on implementation of Best-in-Class practices.

  • Continue to implement always-audit-ready-culture, management systems and practices. Implement standardized CAPA program and internal audit program.

People Management

  • Plan the annual operating budget, effectively manage and track QSE related overhead expenses and CAPEX, provide input summary on the same to Plant General Manager and Finance Manager on a monthly basis.

  • Ensure vertical alignment between Plant/Department/individual objectives of direct report.

  • Coaching and appraisal through Performance Enablement - conduct high quality monthly refreshing conversation, and propose fair draft rating to Plant General Manager.

  • Improve team's capability and performance through training, job rotation, coaching and feedback.

  • Prioritize QSE team work load to balance short, medium and long term tasks

  • Encourage and support projects and initiatives for value creation within QSE areas (thru EJT) to drive continuous improvements, support the team to remove any obstacles.

  • Manage Overtime, ensuring full compliance with Human Rights Policy and local regulations.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology or related field is required

  • 3+ years of work experience with progression of quality systems management in a manufacturing environment preferably in the consumer good industry.

  • Demonstrated successful experience and abilities in the areas of: Sustainability, scientific and regulatory affairs, Quality Management Systems and applications (ISO 9001, Lean, Six Sigma, GFSI, etc.), food regulatory and microbiology.

  • An understanding of the broader sustainability topics including areas of water, energy & climate, sustainable agriculture, packaging and recovery.

  • Must have capability to review, analyze, summarize, and interpret quality systems data, draw conclusions, interpret quality systems data, draw conclusions, make appropriate decisions and recommendations, write reports and give oral presentations.

  • Advanced analytical, problem solving, facilitation and communication skills

  • Demonstrated skill to persuade/influence both internally and externally to the function and organization.

  • System economics, value chain and supply chain finance

  • Technical knowledge and experience in bottling operations, beverage production technology and supplier processes. Management system knowledge and auditing process knowledge

  • Ability to understand risks and create mitigation plans.

  • Knowledge of packaging, product, and ingredient

  • Experience with Program Measurement and Measurement Verification are ideal

  • Experience with customer teams and audits is preferred
