Transport/Drive finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or\ retail and distribution centers. Inspect trucks for mechanical items, safety issues, perform\ preventative maintenance, before and after each trip, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, and overall condition. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules. Load and unload cargo or product,\ sometimes using lifting or tipping devices. Ensure cargo is safely secured throughout the trip.\ Operate the truck safely and follow all road safety rules and traffic laws, especially those relating to trucks. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and clients regarding\ deliveries and any potential delays. Maintain documentation, including logs, timesheets, and\ records of any safety incidents. Inspect the truck to prevent any safety issues. Experience in hauling wide haul or heavy haul loads, tying down or chaining down material is required. Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes. Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and clients regarding deliveries and any potential delays. Comply with company transportation policies and regulations and ensure adherence to weight limits and maintenance of vehicles and to meet delivery deadlines and maximize efficiency.\ \ Employers will accept 2 years of experience in the specific field along with a mandatory Class A CDL license. Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of the truck will be up to 80,000 pounds.\ \ Employees might engage in 2 hours of overtime work, exceeding 8 hours a day. Shift timing from\ Monday to Friday. This position includes frequent national travel (approximately 90%) with occasional local travel (approximately 10%). Will drive truck throughout 49 states of the U.S . No\ International travel involved.
