The Advanced Concepts & Design Manager will be responsible for creating incremental and sustainable growth. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining a pipeline of innovative new ideas, working closely with the engineering team and the Director of Engineering. With a focus on customer satisfaction and high-level quality, this role will lead the charge in creating new ideas that are cutting edge and one-of-a-kind.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

· Develop and maintain a new idea innovative pipeline for current products and new product development

· Lead the cross-functional development of industrial designs and advanced concepts to validate new product ideas

· Lead the cross-functional development of new ideas, including briefing process, life cycle, validation, and VP approval

· Work with the Director of Engineering and Project Management to ensure design intent is understood, feasible, and executed through product development cycles

· Partner with Project Management to develop concepts and designs that align with the product plan

· Ensure consistency of the Bennington product DNA

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field desired

· 2+ years of direct leadership experience preferred or an experienced and proven leader who has the demonstrated ability to lead effective teams

· Demonstrated leadership ability to set goals, delegate and motivate team to achieve those goals

· Strong presentation abilities, including PowerPoint development. Presentations expected.

· Demonstrated ability to lead change with proven innovative strategies

· Excellent written & verbal communication within team and cross-functionally

· Highly organized and effective in managing multiple priorities and deadlines

· Effective negotiation, decision making and problem-solving skills

· Ability to drive accountability throughout the organization
