Aerotek HVAC Test Technician in Frederick, Maryland

Description:

  • The HVAC Test Technician will be working in house for a manufacturer of specialty commercial and residential HVAC units.

  • This individual will need to have strong HVAC technical background in order to operate, run, test and troubleshoot systems.

  • They will be responsible for running tests on the final assembled product as well as troubleshooting any issues.

  • A strong background and knowledge of controls.

  • This candidate may also be taking phone calls from customers and helping to walk them through any issues with their systems.

  • They would like to see a level II or III HVAC technician. CFC certification is preferred. A background working for a manufacturer is a plus, but knowledge of products such as Trane, Carrier, York, Bryant, United Cool Air are necessary.

  • Good communication skills both verbal and written are necessary.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Needs to have piping, brazing, and soldering experience.

  • Needs to be able to read P&ID diagrams.

  • Needs to be able to do both the mechanical and electrical side of HVAC.

  • CFC Universal is needed.
