Brasfield and Gorrieis currently accepting applications for a Buck Hoist Operator.Below are the main responsibilities for this position.

(This description may not include all duties required of this position)

  • Operate or tend bucket - hoists, external elevators, or winches to lift, lower, and pull loads, materials, and personnel vertically in a safe and speedy manner on a commercial construction project at a Healthcare Facility using power-operated cable equipment
  • Load and unload delivery trucks
  • Build handrails and work on other small carpentry projects to help maintain the safety of the project and onsite personnel
  • Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications and Experience

  • 2 year of Commercial Construction experience working in a Healthcare Facility preferred
  • Mechanical understanding required
  • Must be able to lift doors on hoist up to MEDIUM TO HEAVY WEIGHT and work at elevated heights
  • Carpentry skills
