JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are looking for Production Technician(s) to work in our main office in Gays Mills, WI. Position Summary: The Production Technician provides light production assembly work by turning raw materials into finished quality products using engineering prints, bill of materials and work instructions Job Responsibilities: Follows the direction of Cell/Line Leader for what is worked on and when Builds products to specification utilizing Work Instructions and appropriate Build of Materials before proceeding with each task to solder, strip and crimp wires, encapsulate (apply waterproofing materials), calibrate, and assemble Utilize electronic and paper documentation to conduct accurate in-process inspections for self and others Use the appropriate tool or tools for each job moving efficiently from task to task Transitions from jobs within lines/cells and is able to perform duties in 2-3 lines/cells Cooperates in the overall task of getting products shipped on time Participates in monthly inventory. Prepare and assemble materials. Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions. Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering or micro-welding equipment. Position, align, or adjust workpieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly. Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers. Drill or tap holes in specified equipment locations to mount control units or to provide openings for elements, wiring, or instruments. Confer with supervisors or engineers to plan or review work activities or to resolve production problems. Inspect or test wiring installations, assemblies, or circuits for resistance factors or for operation, and record results. Mark and tag components so that stock inventory can be tracked and identified. Complete, review, or maint Prepare raw materials for processing. Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances. Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators.
