Position Overview
The City of Henderson is pleased to announce a recruitment for the position of Quality Control Manager in the Department of Public Works. The successful candidate will be a customer-focused, collaborative leader who is highly experienced in all Quality Control disciplines.
The Quality Control Manager will manage and coordinate the oversight and inspection of construction projects, civil capital improvement projects, and the material testing laboratory. The incumbent will provide input and technical assistance to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. This position requires interpersonal and communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, analytical and presentation skills, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will evaluate existing programs and processes for efficiencies and accomplishments, recommend and implement change in support of the division goals and the City's strategic plan.
Pursuant to the Henderson City Charter, this is an unclassified position not covered by the City of Henderson Civil Services Rules. This means that the incumbent's employment is at -will, and may be terminated with or without cause or notice, at any time by the incumbent of the City.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
The salary range for this position is $95,783.20 - $143,674.80 Annually
Salary placement for non-represented positions is based on a comprehensive compensation review and takes into consideration the candidate's qualifications as well as internal equity.

Bachelor's degree of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
Six (6) years of increasingly responsible professional civil engineering experience; two (2) years of which were at a supervisory level.
Possess and maintain a valid Nevada or "border state" driver's license, as defined by NRS 483.
Valid registration as a professional civil engineer with the State of Nevada or the ability to obtain registration through reciprocity within one (1) year of appointment.
