DESCRIPTION OF WORK As an Aging Care Management Supervisor 1, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our team of Aging Care Managers, Aging Case Aides, and other staff members through the implementation of services to those in need. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of services and maintaining positive relationships with community partners and provider agencies.  Specific duties include assigning and monitoring cases, reviewing care plans, conducting quality assurance reviews, and assisting with the grant application process.  You will assist in the development of policies and procedures and ensure proper adherence to identified standards.

We are looking for someone who possesses strong independent judgment, critical decision-making abilities, initiative, and problem-solving skills and an extensive knowledge of currently available community resources.  Our ideal candidate will exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as have familiarity utilizing spreadsheets and word processing.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. On-call hours when required. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years of experience in public or private social work and a Bachelor's Degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training including successful completion of 12 semester hours of college level courses in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, or other related social sciences.

Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Lackawanna, Monroe, Pike, Susquehanna, and Wayne counties.  If no eligible candidates who live within these counties apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered. You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation. A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening. This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law. Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
