Operates in a team environment, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews. Develops recommendations within established guidelines; work and decisions are reviewed by supervisors before implementation. Required Education: 4 year engineering degree or equivalent work experience Required Experience: Experience with planning and coordinating testing and analysis work for design projects varying in complexity from component only to complete development programs of broad scope Experience operating in a team environment within PV&V (Product Verification and Validation) and the design community Experience with developing and executing test or analysis plans for product verification and validation Ability to help establish short- and long-term objectives, goals, and priorities for the test lab Ability to lead and execute vehicle tests MS Office experience Hands on skills and aptitude with mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical systems Soft Skills Required: Strong mechanical and or electrical aptitude Strong problem-solving skills Strong communication and organizational skills (write clearly and concisely to document test procedures) Product Engineer Summary: Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to support the analysis of information and the specification of the methods and process steps, as well as the plant, machinery, and equipment, required to design and continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes and process systems. Contribute to the development of, and implement feasibility testing of, proposed engineering solutions to provide feedback and data to validate the design.
