Robert Half Controller in Irving, Texas

Description

We are currently seeking a Controller to join our team in Irving, Texas. This role is integral to our finance department and involves overseeing all aspects of the financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general accounting functions.

• Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans.

• Develop financial and tax strategies and manage capital request and budgeting processes.

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems to enhance efficiency.

• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with DCAA regulations.

• Oversee the company's transaction processing systems and design an organization structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.

• Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.

• Ensure compliance with all audit requirements.

• Implement operational best practices and supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions.

Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller role or similar

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must

• Knowledge of DCAA is essential

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary

• Demonstrated ability to work with ERP Solutions

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven experience in Auditing

• Familiarity with Budget Processes is preferred
