Universal Health Services Acute Clinician- PRN in JACKSONVILLE, North Carolina

Responsibilities

Acute Clinician-PRN is responsible for providing therapeutic services for patients in a group setting.This position is responsible for fulfilling clinical services department delivery of clinical groups as part of treatment plan and patient goals. Acute Clinician-PRN works closely with other clinical and program staff in delivery of clinical services, attends all scheduled clinical staff meetings as required.

Qualifications

Education:

Minimum of Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related behavioral health field from an accredited college or university.

Experience:

Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a supervised clinical behavioral health care setting specific to family, individual and group therapy with children, adolescents and/or adults preferred. For specialized issues or treatment modalities, training must be specific to these; abuse reactive, sexual offending, substance abuse, sexual trauma, vocational, play therapy, art therapy and relaxation therapy.

License / Certification:

LCMHC/LCMHCA, LCSW/LCSWA, LMFT/LMFTA or In the process of obtaining LCMHC/LCMHCA, LCSW/LCSWA, LMFT/LMFTA. Compliance with state board requirements for supervised practice while pursuing independent licensure. BLS/CPI certification.

Physical requirements:

Medium Work – Exerting 20 – 50 pounds of force occasionally or 10 – 25 pounds of force frequently or an amount greater than negligible and up to 10 pounds of force frequently or an amount greater than negligible and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of these for light work. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.

Grasping; Speaking; Hearing; Computer use; Visual acuity (color, depth perception, field of vision); Sitting; Standing; Walking; Pushing; Pulling; Stooping; Reaching; Twisting; Crouching; Agility to perform physical restraints / holds; Agility to administer CPR
