Aon are currently recruiting a Head of Credit Solutions to join our Aon Credit Solutions (ACS) team in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Head of Credit Solutions will be primarily responsible for:

  • Developing and leading the Credit Solutions business and building a profitable, sustainable and growing business based on unmatched teams and service excellence.

  • Leading the Executive Team and working with other key partners to set and implement the overall strategy and direction.

  • Build and strengthen relationships with both new and existing clients by delivering the desired client experience and value proposition.

  • Be an active member of the Credit Solutions Leadership Team to help set and complete overall strategy and direction.

  • To maintain and leverage insurer relationships for the benefits of our clients

About the Role

As Head of Credit Solutions some of your key responsibilities will involve:

  • Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

  • Achieve revenue goals and other financial and non-financial targets.

  • Achieve non-negotiable performance criteria.

  • Ensure client needs are central to ACS proposition and day to day business practice

  • Build and develop unmatched teams and talent within ACS

  • Collaborate and work closely with ACS global network to achieve ACS’ global objectives

  • Work closely with colleagues to form an integrated client proposition

  • Personal development, performance management and succession planning for all direct reports, and overall team motivation

  • Provide leadership on key clients and prospects, with personal involvement

  • Ensure all relevant regulatory and compliance requirements are met

  • Act as the strategic interface with the credit insurance market in partnership with ACS CBO

To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Having research and data analytical skills that can monitor the economics that impacts the financial markets.

  • Relevant insurance industry experience.

  • Demonstrate the profitability of portfolios managed.

  • Excellent subject matter and technical knowledge.

  • Account Management and broker development skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees, peers, executive leadership, producers and others.

    Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • Motivational leader and communicator, able to inspire individuals and teams to focus and own solutions designed around service excellence

  • Strong influencer & communicator across all levels of the organization

  • Execution capability, proven track record of sales and delivery

  • Creative innovative problem solver able to translate strategic concepts into solid business executable growth opportunities

  • Business knowledge and foresight based on extensive credit insurance broking industry experience

  • Proven record of implementing initiatives to improve business performance and in developing and sharing standard process

  • Strong understanding and experience of change management principles and approaches

  • Consultative sales, business development skills and application of Aon’s marketing capability where appropriate

  • Understanding of the client, their industry and their risks and matching to Aon solutions

  • Discipline to understand and consistently apply standard methodology sales management sales

  • Deep technical insurance knowledge for core risk line and sufficient knowledge to enable successful cross selling
