Job Description Summary

In this role as an Intern with the Service Operations team, you will be working closely with different operations leaders to drive process improvement and wing to wing outage management from planning to billing by analyzing real business data.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Understanding key business metrics and link with the operational data analysis.

  • Facilitate order management - process order intake, input into internal systems.

  • Responsible for tracking on-time delivery of parts and service by partnering various functions (e.g. Contract managers, Finance, Shop leaders, etc.) for outage planning and fulfilment.

  • Participate in all aspects of designing, researching, building, and delivering data-focus products for business end users from logistics, finance, and operation team etc.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data collection and requirements and establish clear business understanding to provide effective analysis and process automation.

  • Involve the process in investigating and support to make complex data more understandable and usable via data visualization and analytics solution for whole company.

  • Design and execute analytic projects, generate insights to support business targets using advanced analytical techniques

Qualifications Required:

  • Currently pursuing a Degree focused in Data analytics, Business, Supply Chain Management or Engineering.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.

  • Ability to learn tools such as Excel or Tableau for data analysis

  • Strong preference for intern who can join for a minimum of 6 months or more

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated creative problem solving and proactive learning

  • Interested in learning power generation products, and how a MNC (Multinational company) structure services contracts with our customers (owners/operators of power plants)
