Patient Account Representative

Must: Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Must meet or exceed hospital and regulatory agency training requirements. Basic Computer Skills Entry level position. Ability to multi-task and problem solve Requires ability to learn and master understanding of patient accounts processes and regulations. Possesses creativity, high energy, organizational and problem solving skills. Maintain patient confidentiality is a must.

Skills: Clerical Customer Service Problem Solving Math Computer Literate

Duties: Performs hospital patient account functions including, reconciling accounts, claims generation, and/or paper claims submission, third party payer follow-up, claims denial and credit balance resol Reviews, monitors and resolves issues involving fee schedule/contractual allowances, and calculations required for hospital patient account management.

Pay: $16.00 - $23.30 per/hour Paid: Every two weeks
