Salary Range: $24.00/hr - $30.00/hr

About the Position:

The Community Liaison is responsible for supporting faculty community engagement and communication efforts within the Organization. Responsible for developing and implementing strategies that enhance community engagement. Demonstrates cultural competency, community advocacy, and professionalism. Supports the organization’s missions and goals and serves as a liaison for the community. This role involves building and maintaining positive relationships with faculty. Reports directly to the Chief of Staff who reports to the President & CEO.

What You Will Do:

  • Create effective internal communication strategies for the Organization. 

  • Coordinates internal communications (memos, newsletters, fireside chat, etc.)

  • Organize and plan events to disseminate information that aligns with the organization’s mission and goals.

  • Foster relationships with faculty and all departments across the organization.

  • Maintains a calendar for communication events, and community presentations.

  • Attends workshops, meetings, and trainings as requested by supervisor.

  • Engage faculty to attend community activities and events. 

  • Assist in building and maintaining relationships with all Amity Campus Directors. 

  • Effectively communicate the organizations programs and services to all campuses. 

  • Acknowledge milestones and movement for faculty throughout organization. 

  • Event planning summarization for each campus.

  • Assist in collecting and summarizing community feedback and concerns. 

  • Organize and schedule quarterly fireside chats for organization. 

  • Organize and conducts new hire tours for residential campuses.

  • Administrative support as needed by supervisor.  

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

  • GED/Highschool diploma is required.

  • Proficient in using Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).

  • Proficient and prompt written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.  

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision. 

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when necessary. 

  • Experience in non-profit sector a plus.
