Prysmian Group Electrician in Marshall, Texas

Principal duties and responsibilities:

In this role you will report to the Maintenance Manager. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical circuits, as well as, supporting the daily production activities by installing diagnosing, repairing and maintaining electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics and parts specifications • Can troubleshoot and repair basic electrical component issues, i.e., replace ballasts, fuses, circuit breakers, etc. • Working knowledge of PLCs and automation • Install, diagnose and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical components of industrial machinery and equipment • The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in an electrical maintenance atmosphere • Must provide their own tools • Follow established programs, policies and practices that meet regulatory and company requirements • Maintain communication with other departments, management and associates and notify them of any problems or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production Work Environment/Physical Demands:

Will be required to stand, bend, kneel, squat frequently. • Employee will occasionally be required to lift and carry objects of 10-25 pounds as needed. • Employee will occasionally be required to lift and carry objects of 25-30 pounds as needed. • Employee will be required to work productively and cooperatively in a high-volume, fast paced, highly pressured environment and be able to respond efficiently and courteously to unanticipated problems and crisis.

Desired Background:

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in an electrical maintenance atmosphere • Must provide evidence of electrical training or technical degree
