Food Production Worker

PeopleReady of Menomonie, WI is now hiring Food Production Workers! Second shift full-time Temp to Hire. 24 Hour Pay. Aid in the manufacturing, packaging, and labeling of products and ensure that the production process runs smoothly. They may also be tasked with performing quality checks, cleaning, and maintaining production equipment.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18 - $19 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Food Production Worker:

• Responsible for proper storage of all Received Labels once the labels have been released for use in 

manufacturing.

• Responsible for maintaining the safety stock of labels & packaging materials used in the area.

Responsible that all personnel are following the Personal Hygiene Practices, current Good 

Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP) & guidelines, and the Safety Guidelines in the area.

• Responsible that all personnel are following the correct procedures per SOPs, training packets and as 

specified on the Batch Records.

• Responsible for identifying the training needs of personnel working in the area for Quality & 

Manufacturing Procedures, and Safe Operation of Equipment.

• Responsible for planning and executing daily & weekly Production Schedule in coordination with the 

Production Scheduler.

• Ensure that the Label Area is properly staffed for the day production.

Responsible to coordinate with Production Supervisors and Production In-charge for all issues in the 

labeling area.

• Ensure the Area is clear of the last run product to prevent cross contamination.

Responsible for the set up and adjustments of Labeling Machines for each product.

• Responsible for obtaining all materials needed for the labeling & packaging of a product.

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 2nd Shift (Evening)

Job requirements:

• Highschool Diploma/ GED equivalent

• Able to stand for long periods of time.

• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

• Repetitious motion.

• Basic math skills.

• Ability to read and write in English

• Knowledge of the metric system and conversions.
