Yulista Configuration Management Lead in Meridianville, Alabama

PRIMARY FUNCTION The Configuration Management Lead is responsible for planning and executing configuration management throughout the lifecycle of a product or project, in accordance with CM and DM best practices based on guidelines called out in ANSI/EIA-649, GEIA-HB-859, MIL-HDBK-61, company established processes/procedures and customer contract requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Will write, maintain, and update CM planning documents to include configuration management plans, audit plans and work instructions. Lead the coordination and administration of assigned configuration management activities relative to identification, control, verification and accounting for systems and equipment in accordance with contractual requirements. Perform change management tasks as defined in CM processes and procedures. Working knowledge of configuration Status Accounting (CSA) and Baseline Management. Coordinate and facilitate product Physical Configuration Audits (PCA). Assist with the Coordination and facilitate product Functional Configuration Audits (FCA) as required. Develop, review, and maintain CSA Reports. Coordinate with other remotely located team members to assure that CM processes and procedures are properly used. Serve as a change agent recommending and implementing CM process improvements as required. Act as CM process subject matter expert to other functional groups within the company. Assist in preparing various program reviews, including contract and proposal reviews, and ensure compliance with organization policies and procedures by applying configuration management disciplines. Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture. Motivate team members. Discover training needs and provide coaching. Other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the Organization.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position will have nominal supervisory responsibilities, but at times may oversee day-to-day operations, delegate tasks, and set deadlines, and will guide and mentor junior CM analysts.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES: Ability to interpret SOW, PWS, and other customer requirements. Ability to produce basis of estimates for CM/DM in support of new business opportunities. Experience with standards such as ANSI/EIA-649, MIL-HDBK-61, ISO 10007, GEIA-HB-859, ANSI/ASME Y14 Drawing standards etc. Hands on experience with Solid Works PDM systems, Windchill PLM, Teamcenter or similar systems. Must be extremely detailed oriented, task focused, efficient, and organized. Ability to multi-task, prioritize commitments, and manage time effectively. Attention to detail and follow through.

QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS with Twelve (12) years of relevant CM and DM experience Proficient use of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, etc. Knowledge of DOD and non-DOD standards such as: ASME-Y14, ISO 10007, MIL-STD-963, IEEE Std 828 ANSI/EIA 748 highly desirable. NDIA or other similar certifications desired. Must be able to maintain and obtain Government Security Clearance.
