JOB REQUIREMENTS: Translate product vision for the FactoryTalk Design Studio suite into detailed technical requirements to build software features. Support multiple software development teams at a time, ensuring they have the technical guidance necessary to deliver on new functionalities, features, and programs. Review completed work delivered by software engineers for quality and accuracy. Integrate devices including switches, controllers, modules and drives into cloud-based software products using domain expertise. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of designs. Act as a liaison between customers and software development teams. Manage product backlogs and prioritization. Ensure user stories are written with clear acceptance criteria. Work collaboratively with product managers and other product owners to modify, upgrade, and improve cloud-based software products. Validate team output to ensure it meets all specified requirements by directing system testing and validation procedures. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have a bachelor\'s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, the employer will accept a master\'s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of related work experience. Must have 2 years of experience in configuring ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and PanelViews devices. Must have 1 year of experience in each of the following: Writing ladder logic in Studio 5000 Logix Designer; Writing requirements for complex programs designed for muti-functional devices; Setting up test environments and validating user acceptance of requirements; Supporting Scrum and Agile software development methodologies; and Configuring factory devices including switches, controllers, modules and drives in software products. 100% telecommuting permitted; candidate may reside anywhere in the U.S. Domestic travel required up to 5%.
