Controller

To $135,000 plus bonus

My client is a logistics company located in Mount Airy that is looking to hire a self-starting Controller to oversee a large accounting team. This role will report into the CFO and have high visibility within the organization. The Controller will be responsible for the following:

• Oversight of all accounting activities, including financial reporting, month-end close, GL maintenance, and accounting operations

• Treasury functions including cash management, investment management, and banking activities.

• Management and supervision of accounting staff

• Oversight of all organizational tax compliance

• Working with and supporting external auditors

Requirements

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field

• Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
