NorthCare Behaviorial Center Supervisor - Family Preservation Services in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Position is supervised by a Program Director or Program Manager

Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

Ensures a full understanding of and compliance with all agency and contract policies and procedures and ensures that staff understand and comply with agency and contract policies and procedures.

Abides by the agencys policy on confidentiality, at all times, and respects the integrity and confidentiality of persons receiving services.

Supports the hiring and recruitment process.

Responsible for creating an environment that allows for continued growth and development, while increasing staff retention.

Promotes a professional culture among staff that is strengths-based, embracing continual growth and change within the department, and promoting collaboration between personnel within NorthCare.

Develops and maintains positive relationships with community partners, to include Oklahoma Human Services (OHS) personnel, and ensures self and staff conduct services that are sensitive with respect to each familys culture, ethnic origin, race, gender, religion, and sexual orientation. Coordinate services in a professional manner when collaborating with other service providers.

Responsible for assessing caseloads and assigning cases.

Provides oversight and review of assessments, treatment plans, consumer progress notes, and other case documentation.

Responsible for reviewing and submitting staff documentation within program guidelines and contract expectations. Support leadership in completion of case record reviews.

Displays strong critical thinking skills and supports the development of critical thinking skills within staff.

Assists and advises staff regarding client care decisions.

Accompanies assigned workers on home visits to assist with interventions, provide consultation and assess safety concerns when needed.

Assures the provision of services to consumers when the assigned worker is unavailable due to leave or training.

Provides direct services to families when needed as indicated by program director.

Conducts weekly or bi-weekly supervision with workers to assure adherence to established timelines, quality, and appropriateness of consumer services.

Meets productivity expectations individually and for the team, as established by program director.

Takes a lead role in facilitating corrective conversations, making recommendations for improvement, and implementing disciplinary action when needed.

Monitors and provides direction as needed on the implementation of the Safe Care Modules or other program curriculum to facilitate the parents development of special skills or increase knowledge in the areas of parenting, home management, behavior management, and child development.

Monitors and ensures staff works a flexible 40-hour work week, accommodating the needs of families, OHS and community partners.

Ensures staff utilize the outlook calendar to submit a weekly schedule and submit true and accurate time sheets reflecting hours worked as per agency procedures.

Reviews and approves staff time sheets, expense and leave requests in PayCom on a daily basis.

Attends and participates in all agency meetings; program required training, program staff meetings and OHS staff meetings as scheduled.

Maintains a current knowledge of case management, family systems, cultural and ethnic diversity, intervention strategies, and community resources.

Adopts a flexible 40 hour a week work schedule to accommodate the needs of families, OHS and community partners.

Utilizes the outlook calendar to include all meetings, responsibilities, and appointments for the week.

Performs other related duties as required and assigned by Program Director, Vice President of Family Preservation Services and/or executive management.

Qualifications

Position requires a masters degree in social work or related human services field and two (2) years of experience in a human services position; or a bachelors degree in social work or related field and four (4) years experience in a human services position; or bachelors degree in social work or related field and (2) years of experience in a supervisory, leadership position.

This position requires a high degree of flexibility and efficiency. Must display proficiency in the MS Word processing software and intermediate general computer skills
