Springbrook Assistant Director- Campus Residential in Oneonta, New York

Salary Ranges from $63,000.00 - $67,000.00 annually depending on Experience and Qualifications.

Position Summary:

To provide administrative and supervisory support to multiple program operations. Will demonstrate compliance with all Springbrook policies and State regulation to ensure safe and smooth operation of the program.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates good role model behavior while working with individuals in behavioral, medical, educational, and social situations.

• Hire, train, and supervise program managers and team leaders.

• Participate and Represent in IRC, HRC, and ICC for program.

• Follow all 633/624/625 regulations, Incident Reporting, investigation process, IRMA entry, follow up and completion of recommendations as needed.

• Participate in a department wide on call schedule providing coverage and oversight.

• Conduct monthly program manager meetings, annual evaluations, and assist program managers with employee performance reviews.

• Participate in admission process.

• Author, Certify, Supervise, and review implementation of all service plans.

• Conduct quarterly financial audits and program site checks.

• Liaison with family members, advocates, legal guardians, and other treatment team members.

• Create and review and observe fire drills, E-score development and updates.

• Review budget and monitor spending within the program.

• Attend team meetings when necessary.

• Monitor of all daily routines within the program (such as trip request).

• Coordinating Medicaid, Social Security Income, recertification, and guardianship assistance, aging out process, and admissions.

• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required.

• Minimum five years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

• Minimum of three years’ supervisory experience.

• Must be able to work to work a flexible schedule.

• Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software and email applications, especially Microsoft Excel, outlook, and Word; have the aptitude to learn other computer software as necessary.

• Must be able to lift 50lbs independently and assist in lifting weights exceeding 50lbs.

• Meet the requirements to drive Springbrook vehicles as required.

• Be able to perform all physical interventions.
