The Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer takes images of various portions of the body to assist medical officers in diagnosis of diseases and anomalies. Must have a good working knowledge of cross sectional anatomy. Must have the ability to distinguish between normal and abnormal anatomy during ultrasound exams. The Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer is responsible for the care and safety of patients. Must have working knowledge of the most recent version of the Arkansas State University Diagnostic Medical Sonography Clinical Instruction Position Description.
