ARAMARK IT Analyst - Healthcare + Tech Support in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Job Description

As an IT Analyst specializing in Healthcare Software Systems, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and enhancement of critical software applications within healthcare settings. Primary software focus is supporting CBORD Nutrition Service Suite and its related modules. Your responsibilities will span software and hardware installs and support, server maintenance, and leading software upgrade projects. This position functions as an integral part of the IT team in leveraging technology to meet and exceed our customers? expectations and our company?s financial goals.

Job Responsibilities

Project Collaboration and Communication

? Independently lead small to medium sized healthcare IT related projects as assigned.

? Provide technical and logistical leadership throughout all project phases, from inception to deployment.

? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges.

? Communicate effectively with project members and end-users, providing clear instructions and guidance.

Technical Application Support

? Resolve or triage support calls from end-users related to software issues.

? Ensure timely resolution of incidents to minimize disruptions in healthcare services.

? Provide assigned support during system go-lives and upgrade projects, including off-hour releases as required.

Software Installs & Upgrades

? Plan and execute software upgrades in coordination with relevant teams.

? Install, configure, and deploy healthcare software applications.

? Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure successful installations.

? Conduct thorough testing post-installation to verify functionality and compatibility.

? Document install & upgrade processes and develop user guides.

Documentation & Reporting

? Developing and maintaining technical documentation on current and future state of information technology systems, applications, processes, and configurations.

? Maintain accurate records of software installations, upgrades, and support activities.

? Generate regular reports on system performance, incidents, and resolutions.

? Contribute to knowledge base articles for future reference.

Qualifications

? A college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields, is preferred, although equivalent experience will be considered.

? Fundamental knowledge of Windows, PCs, SQL, client/server architecture, networking, operating systems, databases, and software applications.

? Proficient in support of integration components & web services

? Experience with creation and maintenance of functional and/or technical specifications

? Experience with MS SQL Server Management Studio and tools

? Experience with change control processes

? Experience with Server / OS Configuration and Management & Server Drive Management

? Experience with Web applications / IIS / Security Certificates

? Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

? Basic knowledge of Active Directory to support integrated login.

? Familiarity with XML and API a plus but not mandatory. Experience with SaaS models and applications is advantageous.

? Understanding of Network infrastructure to install/setup/support networked printers.

? Knowledge of VPN usage

? Knowledge of ITIL framework for IT service management.

? Experience with project management methodologies.

? Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

? Strong oral and written communications skills
