Description

The Training Coordinator is responsible for managing all logistical aspects of training sessions, including scheduling, venue bookings, and catering. This role requires effective communication of training details to both leadership and participants, and maintaining accurate training records using specialized software. The coordinator supports trainers, assists in the assessment of training effectiveness, and stays updated with the latest industry trends. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office, have experience in training coordination, particularly in a manufacturing or production environment, and possess strong organizational skills. Preferred candidates will have experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and PowerBI. A high school diploma is required, with a preference for a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. This role demands a flexible, independent worker who can also collaborate effectively within a team.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistics for various training sessions, including scheduling, booking facilities/rooms, and arranging catering services.

  • Manage the communication of training schedules, requirements, and expectations to stakeholders and participants efficiently.

  • Maintain accurate training records using appropriate tracking systems or software, including completion forms, evaluations, and feedback.

  • Provide administrative support during training sessions, including preparation of materials and technical support as needed.

  • Collaborate with team members to assess the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements.

  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of training programs through participant feedback and performance metrics.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in training and development.

  • Perform other related duties as required.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, PDFs, and Excel.

  • Experience in coordinating training or similar roles, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).

  • Experience with PowerBI.

Education/Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma.

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
