Responsible to the Molding Manager for the efficient operation of the production and activities of the Mold Repair Department. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Exercise overall supervision in the Mold Repair Department. Participates in screening of new applicants add recommend dismissals. Disciplines subordinates for violation of department procedures and company policy. Ensure all procedures are being followed. Assist in training and development of personnel. Enforce safety regulations and maintain safe, clean working conditions. Makes observations relating to excessive tool/mold wear, breakage, abuse, and/or corrective action. Maintains accurate records of mold changes, set-ups, repairs, corrective actions, tool location and tool use. Oversees the mold to machines set-ups and its auxiliary equipment such as hydraulic cylinders, KO rods, etc. Responsible for the completion of scheduled mold/product changes. Changes/fit new tools on mold as required. Performs routine maintenance of molds. Evaluates mold tooling defects to perform necessary repairs. The above description covers the most significant duties performed but does not exclude other related work assignments not mentioned. High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical school and/or appropriate on the job training. Ability to read blueprints and schematics, use measuring devices and have own tools. Excellent communication skills and ability to read/write English. 7 years past Mold Repair experience.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour
