Job Summary

Oversee the organization's daily logistical operations, including inventory management, order processing, and distribution. Manage the induction of repair and overhaul units and coordinate transportation from the dock to the bond area. Facilitate warehousing activities to enhance the efficiency of storage and retrieval processes. Conduct routine inventory audits to maintain precise product records. Develop and implement plans for inbound and outbound shipments, prioritizing customer requirements. Address detention issues promptly to ensure timely delivery of goods. Assist in cost control efforts by evaluating receiving procedures, load consolidation, and inventory management in the bond area.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, and move materials within plant, yard, or work site, including manually loading and unloading materials onto/from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.

  • Utilize steel cutters, crowbars, claw-hammers, or similar hand tools to open containers.

  • Transport materials from storage or work sites to designated areas using hand trucks, electric dollies, wheelbarrows, or similar equipment.

  • Arrange and secure materials into bundles and bind them together using a banding machine and clincher.

  • Construct crates for containing products such as machines or vehicles using hand tools and pre-cut lumber.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, along with 1 year of relevant experience.
