We are seeking a talented HR Business Partner to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting and aligning HR initiatives with the strategic goals of the organization. This individual will support two plants in the Sebring, Ohio location.

Responsibilities

Inspects finished products, products being processed, incoming materials, parts, and assemblies, etc., for conformance to company standards. Checks randomly selected samples, and verifies accuracy of equipment or process. Reports conditions requiring immediate repair. Support ISO-900:2015 QMS through system auditing.

Perform in process inspection of products within the cutting, dipping and finishing areas. If any deficiencies are found take necessary corrective action. Report the results for any deficiencies immediately to the Production Supervisor.

Inspect and document measurement; ranging from density, thickness, rigidity and weight for products being readied for shipments. Approve or reject parts according to specifications shown on the product specification sheet.

Perform destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics. Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures, and issues COC's/COA's.

Qualifications

High School Graduate or equivalent.

Two (2) or more years in a manufacturing setting.

Quality Control experience a plus

Language Skills

Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to fellow coworkers and other employees of the organization. Ability to read, interpret product drawings, manuals and spec sheets.

Mathematical Skills

Has the ability to perform mathematical functions in order to manage product inventory and production times. Ability to perform these operations using weight measurement, counting systems. And be able to interpret CAD drawings and a tape measure.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
