**Instructional Designer - Temporary University of South Carolina Upstate TMP00980PO24 Spartanburg, SC

The temporary Instructional Designer in the Center for Academic Innovation and Faculty Support (CAIFS) assists with the transition from the Original Course View in the Blackboard Learning Management System to the Blackboard Learn Ultra Course View. The instructional designers collaborate with individual faculty members as needed to understand their existing course functionality and convert/transform course materials to ensure appropriate functionality in Ultra Course View. The temporary Instructional Designer will work withCAIFSto understand institutional template materials and best practices for Ultra Course View settings, then work to existing courses to meet course offering deadlines. The temporary Instructional Designer will also apply accessibility standards for headings, alt text, captions, colors, and formatting to ensure compliance with Department of Education andADAguidelines for higher education courses.

Utilizing personal equipment, telecommuting option is available, though limited face-to-face consultations with faculty may be required.**

**[Minimum Qualifications:Masters degree in education, instructional design, or related field and 1 year experience in instructional design, including the design of online courses. A successful background check is required.

Salary: $29.00 - $48.00 per hour based on experience.

Work Schedule: 20 hours a week preferred for 12 weeks (May 20 - August 15) or multiple positions at lower time commitments. Work to beginASAPand conclude by August 15th, 2024.
