DevOps Engineer at Hidden Level

As a DevOps Engineer at Hidden Level, you can expect to...

Design, extend, optimize , and harden existing DevOps infrastructure:

• Design scalable deployment and configuration strategies for local and remote embedded devices and servers.

• Investigate and implement solutions to increase the performance of existing build systems.

• Improve automation and coverage of continuous delivery pipelines.

• Evaluate, prioritize, and address infrastructure problem reports

.

Work in a motivated cross-disciplinary environment:

• Work with small, dedicated team passionate about solving challenging problems and delivering results.

• Participate in collaborative, cross-functional design and code reviews.

• Document and clearly communicate designs to peers.

A successful candidate will have...

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field

• 3+ years of related professional experience

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and overcome technical challenges through teamwork and collaboration.

• Experience with deploying and maintaining services in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.)

• Working knowledge of IaC technologies (Salt, Ansible, Chef, etc.)

• Expertise in Configuration Management technologies (Git, Perforce)

• Experience with using and managing CI/CD platforms (such as GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, JFrog Artifactory, etc.)

• Experience with Shell/Bash and additional scripting languages (Python, Ruby, etc.)

• Expert working knowledge (including the ability to setup, configure, upgrade, manage, harden, and troubleshoot) of Linux-based and open-source systems and technologies.

• Experience with or the drive to learn:

• Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)

• Multi-cloud infrastructures

The location of this position has the ability to be hybrid, and/or onsite in the Syracuse, NY office.

Salary at Hidden Level Inc. is market competitive and determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $100,000 to $128,000 annually. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Hidden Level Inc.'s total compensation package for employees.
