ManpowerGroup Operations Coordinator in Torrance, California

Job Title: Operations Coordinator - Direct Hire

Location: Torrance, CA

Pay Rate (or Pay Range, if required): $21/HR. - $30/HR. Based on Experience

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday: 8AM to 5PM

What’s the Job?

  • Order Management: Working with current vendors to follow up on open orders; Managing data in customer vendor portals to manage item setup, compliance, and logistics; Generate and process system and spreadsheet purchase orders and sales orders; Order entry with a problem-solving focus; issuing and tracking orders through EDI; coordinating with warehouse to facilitate timely shipment.

  • Reviewing on-line orders through CommerceHub and resolving disputes with Vendor.

  • Invoicing through TrueCommerce.

  • Reporting: Using Excel, Word and referencing information in e-commence systems as needed; Calculate commission and royalty calculations in an accurate and timely fashion; Prepare various internal periodic reports for management in an accurate and timely fashion.

  • Following procedures and company policies, maintains a clean and organized work environment.

  • Performing other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field strongly preferred (but will consider substituting a high school diploma/GED with minimum of six (6) years of recent and relevant work experience per below.

  • Minimum three (3) years of recent experience (if a bachelor’s degree holder) in order processing, logistics and invoicing in a retail, wholesale, or distribution environment.

  • Computer & Software Experience o Minimum one (1) year proven experience using EDI software in a warehouse and/or distribution environment.

  • Experience with TrueCommerce and/or CommerceHub is highlight preferred.

  • Minimum of one year experience using QuickBooks (could- based), Excel, Outlook, and Word

  • Proven experience using computer applications to accurately manage, import and export data across applications (example: accurately import/export data between EDI systems and QuickBooks).

  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to read, understand and follow both written and verbal instructions (the ability to read, write and speak English is necessary to perform this job).

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, solve problems and work with a sense of urgency.

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and adapt easily to changing deadlines.

  • Must be a self-starter who is organized and practices extreme attention to detail.

  • Must be a team player who collaborates well with others.

  • Must be willing to work overtime, and/or weekends as needed with notice. Physical Requirements

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • Excellent manual dexterity and ability to use repetitive hand/wrist movement.

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
