Job Summary:

The Operations and Supply Chain organization has an opportunity for a talented professional to join our team in a critical Supplier Engineering role who will be involved in all aspects of Production Readiness assessments. You will be the point of contact and subject matter expert for production readiness for the program supply base. You will provide technical knowledge & process capability expertise to ensure artifacts related to production readiness meet program requirements and product manufacturing performance. You will be involved in pre-production phase life cycles, including new product development, advanced manufacturing initiatives and continuing through production implementation. The role requires familiarity with industry standard 5Ms, ability to work with dynamic and complex teams, identify and communicate gaps and be part of the solution space, work independently, ability to track progress and work to timelines, communicate with various leadership teams, prepare presentations to the program leadership teams and air-force special program office.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Lead Production Readiness Reviews for the program supply base

Assess and collect all PRR artifacts

Ensure artifacts support transition to production plan

Understand and assess capacity and capability analysis artifacts with respect to program requirements and schedules

Develop tools and templates to ensure PRR artifacts support contractual requirements

This is a hybrid position located in Tucson, AZ.

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Manufacturing Engineering is strongly preferred.

This position is currently designated as a hybrid position, which expectations of supporting onsite scope when needed.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
