SWJ Technology, LLC Mobile Technician (Mobile Tech) in Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Under general supervision this position is responsible for tracking, governance and agreement of services provided by the IT service providers with respect to but not limited to mobile service provider management, procurement and budgeting, asset and lifecycle management, as well as project management activities.

Responsibilities Service Provider Manager:

  • Maintain active knowledge of all services and pricing plans offered b service providers.
  • Make modifications to the service plans as required.
  • Monitor costs and work with vendors to identify and realize cost savings.
  • Ensure incidents/problems are resolved in a timely manner by vendor.
  • Conduct periodic operational oversight meetings with the vendor(s).
  • Ensure no overrun of the annual budget without management approval.

Asset and Lifecycle Management:

  • Maintain active knowledge of OEM standard devices and services, and act as a liaison to other OEM sites to inquire about new service.
  • Monitor and facilitate the fulfillment of standard service requests. Facilitate weekly management review of all open requests.
  • Ensure mobile device inventory is documented in OEM inventory system and coordinate replacement of devices as they approach end of life or technology evolves considering cost and time to ensure continuous and cost efficiency.

TechBar Service Operation Support:

  • Provide direction to TechBar (Service Desk onsite) to fulfill all functions defined in the Service Level Agreement.
  • Monitor and facilitate the fulfillment of standard service request.
  • Analyze demand and utilization for improved availability and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor incident management process and ensure timely solution by service providers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience working in the Automotive Environment in an administrative function.

Required Skills

  • Analytical skill reviewing data relayed to day-to-day tasks to report to management.
  • Experience with procurement and budgeting.
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, communicate technical information on a regular basis.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).

Preferred Requirements

  • Power BI
  • German language skill

Physical Requirements

  • Work is normally performed in an office, lavatory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 Ibs.
  • Must be able to understand and comply with all relevance safety features.
