Astera Health has a Part-Time XR/CT Radiologic Technologist position opening at the Wadena Campus. The primary function of this role is to perform a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols.

Schedule/Hours Available:

• Part-Time: 24 hours per week, two 12-hour shifts Monday through Thursday, with every 5th weekend rotation and a holiday rotation. The weekend shift is Friday - Sunday, 3:00pm - 11:00pm.

Responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:

• Determine appropriate anatomical posture and position for optimal safety and shielding

• Program portable or stationary x-ray machines and make radiographs for a variety of examinations

• Review images on PACS and send to proper radiologist workstations

• Practice medical and surgical aseptic procedures

• Assist in maintaining records and reports

Education and Experience Required:

• Formal training in an AMA approved school for Registered Radiologic Technologists
