FlexTM, Inc is seeking a Robotic Welder for a full time position:
Position Robotic Welder
Primary Objective of this Position As a Robotic Welder you will work under general supervision, operating manual and robotic welders and inspecting and ensuring production of quality parts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Load and Unload robotic weld fixtures
- Tack weld and finish weld as necessary to ensure a completed part after Robotic Welding is completed
- Make adjustments to the robot as needed to create good welds with little to no weld spatter
- Troubleshoot robotic welding issues
- Weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions
- Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers.
- Ability to visualize and interpret blue prints and sketches
- Ability to produce quality welds with proper weld cell settings
- Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding
- Complete quality records for manufactured products
- Guide other associates in their assigned duties when needed
- Coordinate with Production Supervisor to prioritize and schedule work orders to meet deadlines
- Identify and report unsafe practices to Production Supervisor immediately
- Attend job trainings related to production and machinery professional growth
- Complete daily assigned tasks to meet production volume and schedule
- Ensure that work environment is maintained, clean, safe, and organized
- Other duties as assigned by production supervisor
Qualification of Position
- Prior wire welding experience preferred, but not required

``` - Experience working with and programming robotic welders is preferred but not required - Willingness to learn - Attention to detail - Ability to ensure robots are producing parts throughout the shift with minimal interruptions - Must be able to work in a standing position for a 10 hour shift - Must be able to push/pull a minimum of 50 pounds - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from 36 above floor - Must possess critical thinking and analytical skills - Blueprint reading and basic math skills - Team Player with a can do attitude - Adaptable to change
Working Conditions Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 30 pounds, The use of safety equipment is required including but not limited to; safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed work boots.
Will work day hours - Monday thru Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Salary to be discussed with the employer and will include company benefits.
